“ Having just arrived into the city and not knowing where to eat. We spent a while searching on Google maps for a vegetarian friendly place to eat. Atavico Cafe didn't disappoint. Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, English and Spanish menu and the wait between ordering and food on the table is reasonable considering everything is made from to order. $13 for two meals and a drink. I would absolutely have no hesitation recommending this place to everyone! ”

The sandwich was loaded with fresh vegetables, and I will be thinking about the whole wheat bread for a long time. The atmosphere inside was really lovely — people chatting and eating. We decided to eat outside to enjoy the weather, and they cleaned off the table to accommodate us. I would definitely go back! ”
“ Lovely & unique atmosphere. I've been in Quito over a week now from the US. I've stopped at this place several times for coffee and brunch. I keep coming back because the place is so comfortable, quiet, and beautiful. Plus, every person y works there are very nice and welcoming. They are also very patient with my lack of Spanish. The cappuccino is delicious, and I've had the veggie and mushroom omelet also delicious. I haven't tried the desserts yet, that's next! ”
“ We didn’t have the food but we did the coffee tour ran by the owner of the cafe and our tour guide Edwin. Edwin was a fantastic guide who taught us so much history on coffee, not only in Ecuador but from around the world. The owner was also brilliant and we had a great time conversing with them. We had 9 different coffee shots which included different roasts, flavours and ways of making it and even got to be involved with some of the making ourselves. It was a brilliant experience. Definitely value for money as it was 25-30 dollars person. Highly recommend it to people even if they aren’t coffee maniacs!!! ”
